We’re turning 1!  Yay!  We will be celebrating our one year anniversary at our home base, Barrier Brewing in Oceanside @ 7:30 PM.  As always, homebrew is welcome and we will have a feedback table available.

We are returning to Effin Gruven for our August meeting.  Our guest speaker will be Mary Izett, author of Speed Brewing.  In addition, we will be tasting and voting on the chopped beer contenders.  As always, homebrew is welcome and a feedback table will be available.

Off flavor class to learn how to identify and correct common off flavors in brewing.  Class will be limited to 14 participants.  Cost of the class is $20.

For our next style class we will be tackling IPAs.  Limited to 12 particpants.

Our May meeting will be held on May 19th at 7:30 PM.  We’ll be returning to the Black Sheep Ale House in Mineola.  Our guest speaker will be Mike Voigt from Rocky Point Artisan Brewers.

The April 2015 meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 21.  We will be at a new location this month, Mr. Beery’s in on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.  Hope to see everyone there.
